When Larry Ingram and Morris Cochrum began their business in 1975, they set out as a two-man team with a mission: to satisfy their customers' comfort needs through high-quality, cost-effective mechanical design solutions, installations and service in a manner that honors the Lord God.
They pursued that mission one employee at a time, building their company on a foundation of mutual respect with their employees. They have always encouraged and maintained a sense of family in their work force, even as Venture Mechanical Inc. has grown throughout the years from its small beginnings to the $75 million, 115-employee corporation that it is today.
Venture Mechanical is a Texas company that was incorporated February 19, 1975. It was operated as Crossroads Mechanical Inc. until October 1, 1983, when it acquired Metric Mechanical and the name changed to Venture Mechanical. The company's base of operations is in Irving, Texas, in the center of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Venture is a mechanical contractor, specializing in commercial and industrial markets in the Metroplex. Projects vary from small tenant leases to multi-story office parks to helicopter assembly plants, with mechanical contracts that range in value from hundreds to multiple millions.
Through a long-term commitment to the Dallas-Fort Worth market, Venture has flourished and built many business relationships that have weathered the years. Venture's people recognize that teamwork among contractors, vendors and employees is key in creating a cohesive and successful project. Venture Mechanical has earned a reputation of delivering quality at a fair price, and we take pride in continuing that tradition.
